Knight Strategies Knight Knights have three basic options: swords, axes or polearms. Swords allow both parrying and the use of a shield. When following the sword strategy, you should get both parry and dodge, and then skills that will help you in long battles. Halflings and elves do well with the sword strategy. Axes don't parry well, so the shield skill is more important. When following the axe strategy, you should learn shield block and auxiliary skills like bash, disarm, etc. Minotaurs and dwarves do well with the axe strategy. Polearms (spears) do big damage, but require two hands so you can't use a shield. When following the polearm strategy, parrying and extra attacks should be your main priorities. Tabaxis, humans and gnomes do well with the polearm strategy.
